• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Matt, your panties are about to get tight

I hope its actually has some good improvement over the 6k series... from 5-6k the benchmarks weren't that much better.

Looks rather impressive...but..why not wait 12 more seconds, and then get the next better one..since it'll have price dropped by then...****ing gpu's coming out every other minute....

problem with these right now is x-fire performance. i need to see benchmarks and comparison after those new drivers are released.

^ ^ This.

-Edit-
I wonder how one of these 7xxx series cards will/would compare with my Vapor-X 5770 (1GB GDDR5 960Mhz clock, 1445Mhz memory). According to this page I should be able to get close to the new cards results but seeing an actual test would be interesting too.

amd drivers always sucked. but that said, ive been having issues with newer nvidia drivers as well.

Ancient cards I agree (referring to the 5770 and 4870....who cares about SLI) but for being as old as they are I still consider them fairly decent ones for dirt cheap. A 7970 would more than kick @$$ but for now I'm happy with my ~$100 VaporX 5770.

My system randomly crashes about once every month because of Nvidia's ****ty drivers due to an issue they have with AMD chipsets (yet they fail to address it). I need an upgrade from my 9800GT...gonna wait until the 7970 comes down in price.
