Matching carpet for trunk

I need to buy some material that will match the trunk carpet. Anyone have a good source for an exact match? I don't want something "close" I want something exact.

I'm a little tempted to buy a few trunk carpets from the junkyard but I don't want to deal with the mildew potential.

Buy a junk yard carpet, scrub it to hell and clean it real good, and air dry it for a day or two. That should get rid of any mold or mildew lingering around. Otherwise, buy a junkyard carpet and use it as a template on your new carpet so you can cut it out.

I guess I should have specified, I am not needing to replace my OEM carpet necessarily, just need to upholster a sub box and some other panels and I want it to be an exact match.

Cheapest bet is gonna be junkyard carpet.

You could always use new different carpet and put it over the existing formed and or flat stock carpet pieces for a uniform look. That factory carpet may be tough to match in new bulk material. As trick as your ride looks, heck you ought to build custom fiberglass or MDF panels for the trunk.

Honestly I have always gone to a good auto upholstery supplier (often time upholstery shops carry auto and home products). Some place like Keystone brothers or similar. I show it to them and they will cut a few small samples of what they have for me to take out and match in the sunlight, inside in their lighting, etc. They almost always have some close enough that it looks identical. I have seen OEM carpets vary in color more just from aging.

If photobucket was working, I'd show you the stuff I picked up at a fabric outlet. I had a scrap of factory stuff from a jy that I took with me. It matched so darn close you'd never care.
