not bad, I often wondered about making the GT's bigger. just use it for penny's I cant fit with the rest of the coins...

what are the ones in the dash for?

Heads up display goes into the one
on the drivers right and on the left ?

as far as i know, the one that came on the left was just that, a cubby.
the one on the right is supposed to be for the hud switch... but if you see in another thread of mine, i'm moving the hud switch over to the left one, cuz it seems to me that havng the cubby on the right would be more beneficial.

yeah that might have been a option
to either have it on the right or left since they both are the same..

all the factory mounted hud switches are on the right... the harness isnt long enough to get to the left. that's why i'm putting together an extension harness for mine.
 


actually I have seen at least one with the hud on the left cant remember if it was a 97 or 98 but it Definitely had the hud on the left. I remember because I was like WTF...where did the...Oh there it is...WEIRD. I even ask about it...IIRC the guy said he had seen a few like that...and related it may have been a dealer installed add on that the customer wanted vs ordered from factory. Just my $0.02...take it or leave it.
 
I actually installed my GPS into my cubby hole, spaces on the right and the left are for my Cigarettes and Sidekick LX respectively. Helps to know which parkways and shortcuts connect to where when your running from the cops in an unfamiliar part of town... (Fort Myers, AKA "Fort Misery", Florida)
