if your insurance is anything like mine, once they total out the car, you cant have anything off of it. no rims no tails, nothing. essentially, you need to provide them receipts of extras you had in/on the car (like the rims and tails) if they werent there when you bought the car. then, the insurance company should figure that in when cutting you the check for the car.
I asked my insurance company the day of the accident if I could take my tails and my wheels off, they told me as long as I had replacements to put on the car and as long as I took pics first I could do that.
wow thats crazy, this happened to me on June 2nd. Thank GOD i wasnt driving the gtp. walked away with a few scratches on my arms. so i guess my gtp is my dd now
