Magnaflow Cat

Just buy a 3" in/out converter and bolt it in place of the straight pipe before it bolts up to your catback.

Also, buy a 3" converter from EBay...because PFYC is expensive as hell.

Thanks for the fast response. I did look on Ebay and all that i found where the high flow cats that are over $100 and one bullet cat that was close to $100 so surprisingly pfyc was cheaper. Arent the only ones that bolt on are the high flow cats? like the one below. If thats the case i would really just prefer the bullet cat since i want to keep the cat on the car. Do you have a cat that u prefer? Sorry if i sound kinda slow about this subject but i don't know a lot about cats at all.

Interesting i have never heard of a non cat. What does it do? will it clean the emissions? Will it make the car a little quieter i don't really like the huge grumble/raspsy sound it makes now. Which i think it makes that noise because i have an exhaust leak, and i am hoping that welding on a cat will solve that issue. Also is there any gains? or will it rob the gains since a "non-cat" is going back on?

I'd opt for one of the HM series because most of the other ones supposedly don't do so well for emissions.

Sort of a "throw it on and I'll need a new one next time around" cat.

to be carb compliant it needs to be designed for that vehicle alone.

It wont matter because its for aftermarket exhaust.

Glad you got it figured out...but yes...if you could get away with it; get a fake converter from Frozen Boost

Does it need to DO anything?

If not.... Frozen boost has a "non-cat" for less money.

Will this also help with the grumble/raspsy sound it makes? Cause mine doesn't have a CAT either.

A catless system will have a little more "tone" to it...deeper sounding if you will...you WANT a resonator and non-chambered mufflers to keep the exhaust quiet since 3800's sound like crap regardless.
