MAF Problem?

i already fixed the bolt it has 4 bolts lol. and like i said i dont really want to cuz i would have to leave the maf off for a month to be sure its the issue and i dont want to be burning gas like nuts for a month (i heard from someone that you go through gas when u do that, but please say so if thats wrong).

catback cost me $425 not expensive. those arent ricer headlights ricers dont have halos bmw's do. and i dont have subs so no you lose :D

^ True. If you can't afford a new Maf you probably need to get your priorities straight and not mod until you save up for a rainy day.

i dont believe i ever asked anyone what i should sell i believe i asked what can i do to diagnose and fix my problem (besides running with no maf for a month).

i can afford a new maf if i really needed one thats not a problem. but im not going to go out and buy something im not even sure if i need or not

the problem is just completely random i would literally have to run with no maf for a month to be sure. i suppose i can do it for one drive and see if theres a noticeable difference in how the car runs but if theres no difference im not going to continue to drive with no maf

i cant afford to be going through gas like crazy for a month. if i ran with no maf for a month id probly spend over $500 on gas

It's called trial and error.

Sh1t happens, party naked, spend money, move on.

Go get some used MAF's...or how about buying a scanner...that'll tell you what's going on and isn't just "throwing parts at it", because a scanner is a worthwhile tool.
