Maf fail

I think I have been plagued with the P0102 code since I did my top swap last fall. For whatever reason, I have over looked it till now. I have it narrowed down to the fuse is blown. I replaced it three times and each one blew. Can it be the wiring for the 97 gt is different then for the gtp newer maf?

I know the tb is different but that would not cause the p0102. After looking at advance auto online site, the gt and gtp maf for 97-98 are the same. I'm going to go home and look for my stock gt maf and swap it in.

Never mind I found out I have a 98 blower and tb, so it should be the same maf that was used on my gt, I am going to switch them tonight and see how it responds.

At this point it has nothing to do with the MAF sensor. It has to be a wire issue. With a new fuse and the maf unplugged, as soon as I put the car to the on position, it blows the fuse. I threw a 30 amp fuse on it and it works fine. What are the side affects to running a 30 amp fuse temporally till I trace down what is causing this fuse to blow.

What all runs on this fuse? Are the o2 also using this fuse?
