you have to check if its prewired. not all 04+ are prewired for it.

Damn hope its pre wired, I'll check someday during the week. Just remove the center console their should be a wire connection extra?

yeah, dont even need to remove it.. just reach under the center console under the stereo area. there will be a plug from the back to the centre console, if it has like 10 wires, then should be prewired.

OR you can remove the speedo and look behind it and you will see an extra plug taped back there, small one, thats hud plug

So just remove face plate and under the stereo should be a plug? Dont know how to remove the Speedo?

not the faceplate.. reach under the center console, down in the foot wells.. you will find the plug.

Clipped? what plug runs under into your centre console?


I found the easiest way to find out about the HUD prewire is to look behind the speedo

Nope wasn't TOO scary cutting into it. I actually did it manually. Razor and a hacksaw blade. In the last I found high speed tools tend to not cut so much as melt.

I used the diamond wheels on my dremel and one wheel did the whole thing. Easy as hell to cut through but I was cleaning up dust for days -_-

I had no issues. I like delicate proceedings.

Now I just need to modify my dome ligh to accept a 194 not a festoon.
