Mach 1's Finally On (pics)

Well the skies finally parted here in St. Louis yesterday and allowed me some time to wash the grand prix and put her new shoes on. I personally really like the look... It is going to take me a while to get used to how much farther the wheels and tires stick out verses the torque stars but hey, that is why they called our cars "wide track "right haha.
Anyway, I hope you like them and before anyone goes on and on, yes I know the wheels would look better with the car lowered but I am not going to that right now because of money, yes I know the back passenger wheel still has a small dent in it (I will be getting it fixed soon), yes I know there is a small dent on the back drivers side door, and yes I painted my exhaust tips black (I like it).

So, with that out of the way, I hope you enjoy the picks....

The car is pulling to the left just slightly so I'm going to switch some of the wheels around tonight to see if one is just balanced differently than the others and that is whats throwing it off.

very very nice and are those mickey thomsons? the tread looks like the ones on my dads hot rod

nope, they are yokohamas. I was afriad that there would be loud (a lot of road noise) since they were so cheap from tire rack (68 a piece) but the road noise is more quiet than my michelin's on the torque stars. I love the tires....

2 thumbs up!

Though's look sweet... what are the full spec's on the tires??, Im now on the hunt for those rims..

again... Nice!

they look good.

on the second picture, is the drivers side rim on right? it looks tilted

I think it is on straight but it might be a bit off. Maybe that is why it drifts to the left slightly. I'll check it when I get home and let you know but besides going to the left slightly, the ride has been great with these...

And like stated above, the specs on the tires are 245/45/r17's.

did you get an alignment yet? it looks like youve got some mean negative camber right now. (i like the look of negative camber on some cars)

No I haven't gotten one yet. I should do that soon I'll schedule one for tomorrow and hopefully that will fix the problem. They aren't too expensive are they, it has been so long since I got one last.

Alignments can get a bit pricey on these cars cause of a camber bolt kit they need to adjust the alignment unless your cars allready set up with one otherwise like 50-80 bucks depending on where ya go
