Lumbar Problem

Hey folks, great forum you have here! I have fixed a few issues already, but this is my first post.

2006 GP GT 3.8L V6 SC

Problem with lumbar support in drivers seat. Switch does nothing. I will attempt to explain, and I think I'm on track, but has anyone seen this issue already, or has some pinouts/diagrams for me?

I have taken the back off the seat and can see the lumbar is not a pump for air bags, it's a dc motor connected to a bicycle brake cable which bends this plastic part forward for support.

Took the dc motor off, and it spins when the lumbar switch is in reverse, but nothing when the switch is moved forward. So, I guess the motor is getting voltage as there are only 2 wires feeding it.

Took off the lumbar switch and i can see that it has 4 wires feeding it. So, I think the switch will reverse the voltage, spinning the motor in the opposite direction when the forward position is clicked.

I will attemp to read the voltage on the 4 wires feeding the switch, and also I think I will take appart the switch and test it out if the 4 feeds are live.

Thanks.

Well I took out the lumbar switch and took it apart. There was part of the circuit board inside that was fried. I will attemp to solder it back together and see if that helps. Maaybe I will solder in a 12v fuse in there in case it fries again.
