LT1 brake upgrade

Ok i thought i read somewhere that the LT1 brakes are a upgrade for the 97-03 Grand prix, but after looking into it again i cant find anything.

Sooo can anyone tell me if its a upgrade or not? I know the LS1 brakes are a upgrade for the LT1 and that the LS1's are all around better, butttt I have LT1s sitting and if they are a upgrade I want to put them on.

Not really an upgrade as said, its still going to be a single caliper piston, but they may still house the bigger brakes which would be slightly better as it can stop easier with bigger brakes....

but if you have them already.... TRY THEM ON!!! :th_jester:
 
I just installed the 12" upgrade from a '05 Monte SS and was disappointed they were single piston but what a huge difference, much more than I expected. I went from standard size with EBC Red pads to the 12" upgrade with decent Wagner pads and the upgrade was by far better.
