I dont know about you, but that is one radical supercharger. Not anything like I have every seen, roots or centrifugal. To say nothing of the fact its intercooled too.
I am not trying to sterotype. Espcially not you John. But around here, 9 times out of 10, if you own a Vette, you are older(60+), and they usually leave their cars stock. There are a few guys around here that are quite young(20's) and have a Vette. They are Air Force and they don't know Anything about cars. It's usually just a like brand name to them. I'm surprised thay pump their own gas if you know what I mean.
Looks like John has lots of style though. Nice Hawk!!!(wanna race?)haha
Great links to the videos. I dunno about ripping off the supercharger. That thing is 'supposedly' to be in the 650hp range. We'll see though.
People will soon max out the supercharger and want something more efficient. Im sure moving to a big twin screw will be one option and im sure the other will be a twin turbo setup. Just like the cobra guys. Their are guys that had high hp twin screw setups that moved to turboes that require less other parts to run the same power output.

Two things that stand out to me.
1. Carbon Ceramic rotors. Lifetime rotors! Yeah, its about time.
2. Magnetic Selective Ride Control - I dont know this for fact, but I remember a special on Discovery channel a couple years ago that dealt with upcoming or futuristic automotive technologies. One of which was shocks and struts that used a material in them that replaced the normal fluid that was kinda fluid but changed with electrical current. In otherwords, the suspension was completely dynamic and near infinitely adjustable. The more current applied the stiffer the ride, but it could also be set up to apply current in a progressive way so that the faster the shock was rebounding or dampening the faster the current was applied and so gave a near perfectly consisten ride no matter the road conditions.
I dont know for fact that that is what is on the Corvette, but it sounds like it.
