Ls7 lifters

Do I NEED LS7 lifters or not whenever I do my cam install. The engine is a roller engine so I don't think I need them but I'm not for sure. If I don't NEED them then what is so much better about the LS7 lifters than my stock lifters?
 


Nothing makes them better, they are just a great replacement part that is same as what came from the factory.

Lifters aren't required but are just a suggestion if they are high mileage or show any signs of wear on the rollers. It's not uncommon to see a cam lobe being worn away from poor metal quality.
 
Over 100k, for 80bucks, just put ls7s in...you need to take old lifters out anyway, nice time to just replace
