The Impala mentioned that had the LS1 was a 2002 Impala SS concept, a legend among the Impala forums as it would unload some whoop-ass on the current LS4 powered SS. No offense to GP owners, but when we found out that the original power train from that car had eventually ended up in a GP (different article), we cried. It's a Chevy motor and was meant for one of our Impalas. I'd take it in a heart beat...
