Why not just buy the new Dorman LS6 from RockAuto?

Apparently flows better anyways.

And it's $300, new.

It doesn't flow as good as ls6.....but I've actually been considering it. It's almost as good as ls6. Maybe one day. Or maybe on the new engine I have.

I was told after getting the car dialed in with nothing else than a manifold swap it's close to 30WHP/WTQ across the range, sometimes more.

I wish you guys were closer. I seriously don't have the balls to dig into my motor... Just not familiar with the LS platform that much I guess.

Build looks good. Take a lot of pics of your turbo build I want to see that. I'm going turbo this year too on the GTP, but I'm only shooting for 400-450 whp. I'm helping a buddy pull his trans out of his GXP that took a crap last week. Got any v8 trans removal tips.

Rear mount sucks.

Everything else is pretty much the same...TQ converter bolt removal I hear is kinda crappy and you have to be careful with the starter bolts. Exhaust crossover and air intake tubing/box needs to come out as well. Dave @ TEP said the rest is just comparable to a 3800 trans swap.

Sucks, but at least it looks like your getting rid of them soon anyways.

I don't have any issues with mine. Never had to re-tighten bolts, nothing leaking other than the cheap clamp I have on the bottom of the downpipe.
