Different might not always be better but if it weren't for people daring to be different we would still be driving stock Grand Prix's and there might not even be a Corvette.

I wonder if I can fit that setup in my 08 Civic sedan? lol:cool:

That's prettymuch the whole point, pull up next to the muscle car guys in a faggy looking Civic and watch their jaws drop when they hear that LS1 sound comming from those fart cans. The looks would be priceless, I have respect for the guy who did it.

I must say, that took a lot of time and effort to accomplish that. after swapping the LS1 into my S10. I can only imagine what he had to fabricate. I like the car!!

anything that you put time ad effort into...is a positve in my book!

holy cow does that thing pull!

Kinda cool the guy attempted to be different.
He could have surrendered to the masses and installed an ebay CAI and "SS JDM Billet Titanium" fart can. Oh and don't forget the aluminum wing...
He didn't just install the LS1 but he grafted the entire platform under that car. Front suspension, dash/int. comp., rear ind. suspension... lots of work.
But, I'd rather have my L67 than any of the shiny turds he had parked in his driveway!

Wouldn't be my best choice. From reading other forums, he could have just modded a DOHC VTEC and get near 12s. But I guess the main goal was to be different rather than #s.

If you have the money (Judging by the cars, that's a yes) and you like the civic's body style go for it. Its your money. Looks professionally done to me without the pointless huge muffler. The drifting and calling it a civiette. Just a culture thing.

This is like the Ford Focus V8 or Pontiac Solstice V8. This is the Big engine/small car muscle car concept taken to the extreme.

Personally, I'd go for a Saturn Sky :D :D
