LQ4 MAF question

Quick question I cant seem to find the information anywhere. I need a MAF capable of metering more air, do I need the N* TB or can I just get the MAF? seems silly to me since the bigger TB just goes to an adapter plate the same diameter as the stock TB.
 


If you're maxing out the stock TB and MAF, you would pair up the LQ4 with the N*. Idea being that the LQ4 curve has a range that is within the 11500 Hz used by the PCM but you're flowing more volume through the system to meet the demand of your mods.
 
i'm demodding my old coupe in a couple weeks. I will have a N*/LQ4 available if you're interested.
