lowering springs

I had B&G's before I went with the GMPP lowering kit. The B&G's do sit low but ride pretty decent. I swapped them out because I did not want it that low for a daily driver.

i got about a 3 inch gap between tire and fender at the top, front and back and i would like it to sit 1.5 inches lower at very least....

so what springs should i roll with eibachs, ssc's, or b&g?

im leaning toward b&g right now nice drop and good price....anyone on here got em how do they ride?

btw guys found some little cuts in my back tire today....turns out im gonna have to grind down some bumps on the inside of my rear fenders and re rubberized coat in there...gonna be a project....but hopefully worth it when im slammed with a 17x9 cobra wheel running 255's and running an offset in the +20's

Your going to be pushing it IMO...I doubt you'll be able to have anyone ride in the car with you or be able to compress your suspension at all without those tires rubbing, and thus wasting all the money you put into those wheels/tires...hence why I had to get rid of my 275's on my bullitt's when I lowered my car. And they were only 17's.

cant u just lower the profile on the tires and not rub. im planning on getting 18" bullitt that are 9" wide. gunna put a 245 wide tire on it. i heard that the newer bullit rims have a diff offset that will tuck the tires in the well rather than the older bullitt rims.

i wanna lower it too but dont want any issues. 1.5" lower would be fine or just an inch. love the way the gold car sits with the b&g's but afraid ima rub with the 18 n wide tire

you could, but that creates more fender gap by doing that. the ride also suffers because you have smaller tires on it for no reason. so long as you stick with the 18x9s with the +36mm offset (05+ mustang wheels) then youll be fine. youll probably have to roll the fenders even with that higher offset though. a 9" rim on our car is huge.

The tips i got as a gift like a week after i picked up the car. Im not too sure exactly but they may be special edition or fast toys. As for the tire size it's 245/45/18

I was just wondering about problems with scraping for anyone. I don't know about you guys, but I've been scraping on certain things and my suspension is stock. I stay away from those spots, but with B&G's or eibachs, are speed bumps out of the question? Im looking for a noticable drop, but I need to be able to get over speed bumps without scraping the crap out of my car.

you just have to go over speedbumps crooked. really big ones i end up scraping my exhaust. i run eibachs.

Hey I see no one has replied to this thread in a few years LOL. But im in the process of getting the KYB AGX struts with SSC lowering springs and I want to run those saleen wheels. My GTP is red n the chrome wheels wouldnt look that great on it, I want to go with the HYPERSILVER finnish but that color only comes in a +24mm offset. So id like to know what offset your running on the wheels cause they look PERRRFECT! Thanks..
