gonna finally lower my car....i have 100k should i get new strut top mounts? and should i go SSC's or Eibachs....i cant decide....im leaning toward SSC's because of how shytty the roads are nowadays...people with pics of there car lowered on SSC's chime in please...go's for you with eibachs too...

get all new hardware with your struts and springs. upper and lower insulators, boots, stoppers, top mounts, and you might want to pick up a camber kit as well.

i have ssc's, ill be moving on to b&g's soon.

Just my opinion, but with the offset you picked out on the Saleen's, you're just askin' for trouble, especially on the rears.

FWIW...a guy in Liberty had to sell his lowering springs as his Cobra wheels would hit the fender when he lowered it...front and especially in the back, plus, we had his fenders rolled too.

already took my car to the shop to have the suspension maxed out and i rolled all my fenders and made some adjustments i am 100% rub free....:th_nanana:

if i had my suspension maxed out and didnt rub.... my struts will still bottom out at the same point no matter the length of the spring...so im good...

no not yet but it doesnt matter as the strut still compresses to the same point....i have an inch of clearance between the side wall of my tire and my fenderwalls...

springs dont go bad as fast as struts, but 30k on them seems a little much. i have much more than that on mine, but im not sure id pay to buy them.

im in the mist of putting 18s on my car and was thinking about lowering it but wanted some what of a soft ride still

vogtlands are your game then.

medium to heavy drop springs are SSC, B&G, and eibachs.

slammed springs are intrax. i would love a set of these if i didnt really ever drive my car.

that almost looks stock :th_scratchhead:

I had B&G's before I went with the GMPP lowering kit. The B&G's do sit low but ride pretty decent. I swapped them out because I did not want it that low for a daily driver.
