Lowering spring ride quality?

jerZcavy4120

honda owner.
Well, i got paid today.

I'm looking to buy lowering springs, but i daily my car, so i still need decent ground clearance as well as GOOD ride quality (minimal bounce.)

I'm hearing good things from springtech's. but i'm finding them difficult to come by, so are Vogtlands a good alternative?

all in all. i'm looking for a spring that are GOOD in the corners but doesn't necessarily have a monster drop. (ie:SSC's are too low for what i'm looking for.)

I've been told to use: www.suspensionmaxx.com for Springtechs
and i found Vogtlands for a good price at:Vogtland :: Manufacturers...

if anyone has any valuable input or good suggestions to what i should run. please feel free to rant :)

*and the springs will be matched with KYB shocks and monroe shock mounts.

SSC is not a 'monster' drop, if you go with anything less the drop will hardly be noticable

No drop on springs will be low enough to ride terrible or keep you from clearing things like speed bumps.

Pick eibach, they are the only progressive spring.

sooooo eibachs > vogtlands/springtechs? because im ordering springs tonight, and should i pickup antipogo washers while my debit cards out?

anti pogo washers are also known as sub frame washers to get them at a far cheaper price usually at the dealership

they can be a lil firmer so i can enjoy the corner more ;)

but not stiff enough that i'll break my neck when i hit a pothole

i'm soo undecided now.

and yes i've been through bios suspension thread like a bahgillion times..

if you get a set that doesnt lower that much you wont be satisfied after a couple of weeks when you wish that horrid wheel gap was much less.

get eibach or B&G. thank us later.

I have Eibach and the ride is a little more rough than my liking. At the same time my GR2 struts are probably worn.

I had eibach before my coilovers and i liked the ride with some AGX, Getting lowering lowering springs that barely lower is stupid IMO

I wouldn't totally agree that no springs are low enough that they can cause clearance issues. I'm on agx/ssc and I can't pull over parking blocks, leave steeper driveway without angling, and there are certain speed bumps I avoid. That said its definitely not too extreme, and the ride is not bad.
