Lowering Front Only...??

First pic is last fall, before new front loaded struts. Second pic is now with 3-4 month old struts. The front is wayyy too nose high and I was wondering if just replacing the front springs with lowering springs will get it back to being more level. As it sits now it looks as if there isn't any motor in it it's so high...lol. I was told that the springs would settle over time, which they haven't done. The back struts are about a year old, being put on the car just before I bought it last May. I've read all 9 pages about lowering, pros and cons, brands, drops, etc., but I'm not too good with suspension stuff...is it possible to get springs that offer about 1.5" to 2" drop and install them directly onto the struts I have now or do I have to repurchase struts (w/o springs this time) again?

I'm actually happy with the rears, ride and height-wise and I was thinking that if I did go lower all around I'd end up with the same basic look as I do now (high front and regular height rear). Do I have to do anything special besides just swap out front springs with the SSC's?

Yeah, I've noticed that, doing a bit more reading on the subject. I was just worried that if I installed all 4 lowering springs it would be at the same level it is now. Thanks for clarifying that!

Of course you will have the rear springs when you realize that the front is too low and you need to even it out, you will have the rears.

I've got the same problem as you...I bought Quick struts and now I'm lifted and its ugly...Monroe is refunding me and I will take that money, buy KYB struts and get SSC's or maybe even give the DNA springs a shot, maybe.

Exactly!!! I did see where the DNA springs were commented on, may try those, may not, just depends on what the spring/lowering guys recommend I guess.

New struts with new stock springs will make it seem like your car was raised but thats only because its returning it to stock ride height. Struts and springs happen to settle over time and that happens.

My car was in the same boat. The front was raised really high after new struts. I put sscs all around and the drop is pretty dead even. The rear I'd say is a quarter inch lower if that. I can fit two fingers in the gaps but the front has a little more wiggle room.
