Hi guys...

can anyone tell me if you can buy a control arm complete with bushings and ball joint for a 2005 grand prix gt.......i've looked but all i can find is individual bushings and individual ball joints for this year GP......thx in advance for any help:)

if the complete control arms is unavailable how hard is it to change the bushings without getting them pressed in...or is it even a possibililty?
thx again for any help

The only place to buy a complete control arm specifically for 04-05 is from ZZP. And that's their tubular one which costs what....$400? You can however use the control arms from the previous gen GP's. Any control arm from 97-08 will work. It will even open up the possibility of using a better sway bar upfront such as the GMPP sway bar.

So you can go on to RockAuto and purchase a control arm for a 2000 GP and it will bolt right up.

That will work. Although I'm sure you could find it cheaper. I'd also recommend you change both if you are just thinking about changing one. And no you would not need to change the sway bar. Since you have an 05 the sway bar connects to the strut, so that's just one less thing you have to worry about when changing the LCA.

If you switch over to the 97-03 LCA's, I believe you will also need the 97-03 sway bar endlinks.
