Low Voltage

Alright guys, I've got a small issue that I'm trying to figure out whether or not it's an actual issue, or I'm just overreacting lol. On a cold start, usually when the cars been sitting over night or I've been at work all day and go to leave, when it starts up I'll usually see around 12-12.5v. It'll only be that low for the first few minutes of it being started and after that jumps up to the usual 14.5v, but with the cam, the car lobes really heavy when the voltage is low at first. Sometimes when I remote start the car, it'll cut off when started, and try starting again since the remote start has a low voltage setting, or something like that lol. Someone told me it could be the regulator in the alternator not really working till the cars warmed up a little, but I'm unsure. Any help is of course appreciated. This "problem" only started happening after I did my "new setup" on my car which includes: this is copied straight from my ride thread.

L26 Block
Ported/Polished heads w/ Oversized SS valves
NIC cam
ZZP 105# springs
Gen V Blower
LS1 Throttle Body
LQ4 MAF
SD headers
2.5" Catless Exhaust
3.25" MPS
AL 103s
ZZP 10.5mm wires
Street Tuned

I'll have to try that, never that about doing that. Only thing that sucks is we're rarely ever home at the same time lol

I should have the alternator under the lifetime warranty at autozone, I've just been slacking on replacing it, and thought maybe it could be something else.

I have problems with my car it does about the same thing since i put my cam in. I'll come up to a stop light and the voltage will drop to about 13-13.5. I'll randomly get low voltage pop up on my dic. I'm thinking my alt is crapping out but i'm not sure.

Well the thing is when I cammed, that same thing would happen to me, Voltage drop at a light from the cam lobing and rpms dropping up and down. That I'm used to and know that's supposed to happen, it's just weird that now it sits at 12v for a few minutes when it's first started up, this is a new "issue."
