Loud ticking noise on acceleration

I have a really loud ticking noise on acceleration, it can be heard over the supercharger and sounds like complete sh*t.

Could my injectors be going bad?

I tried opening the hood and revving it to see if I could pinpoint where the noise was coming from, but I could not get it to make the noise.

Any help is appreciated.
 


I would get a stethoscope they work good for finding a noise. A long screw driver works too just put ur ear to the handle and press the driver on an object or near to help identify a problem. I have find this a good tip.
 


well i have a bit left over, ill run it through the line and see if I can see anything. dont know why i didnt think of that.
 


Im personally not a fan of JB weld. Im thinking its a gasket but im just going on what your telling me. Can you hear it at Idle or pedal 1/4 down, 1/2 etc.? If you can hear it at idle just get under the car and pinpoint it. If it has to have more pressure get a friend to rev while you listen.
 


I cant hear it well im in park, I can hear it when im in drive and give it about half throttle. Seems to only be heard when under load.
 
So I seafoamed my car yesterday and there was so much smoke coming from behind the engine, that I couldn't pinpoint where the leak was because I was choking on the fumes lol.

Its a relief to know that its just a leak though and not something more serious.

On a side note, seafoaming got rid of all my kr, I don't see any kr even at 6000 rpm like I used to.

So overall I'm pretty happy, but would like to get rid of this damn ticking noise.
