I was coming home tonight minding my own business when I see purple headlights coming up fast and realized it was an integra. At the next light he was all gasin it with the brake so id move around and I casually just went on green and he gunned it all cool. I haven't ran my car against another car so I said what the hell...I got up next to him and we went from a 40 roll which I just walked right past. At the light I asked what he had done and he said it was a "built gsr" I told him I was stock and proceeded to keep on driving when he yelled over to do it from a dig at the next light. So we went on a dig and I just ate him just ate him...I don't believe it was "built". I know it was just an integra but none the least I put him in his place
 


A "built" GSR (which would be a B18 of sorts...DOHC 1.8 liter VTEC) would run circles around a stock or even slightly modded GTP. Hell I ran one after I did my XP setup that was tossed in a gutted CRX...told me it had 13.0:1 compression and tons of other crap and shifting around 11K...needless to say it was dead even from a 50-120ish and I was on a 3.2".

Just to give you an idea ;)

My buddy had a "built" civic gutted that was 280whp and would just run like a bat out of hell so I expected to just feel like that girl laying there in bed after she just got raped when we went from a dig. But nope he sucked it up! Didn't bother me after that run atleast
 
Built is a matter of opinion. Built could be bolt ons to someone, then built to another man is a machined, blue printed block, ect ect. Congrats but as you pointed out probably more of a stock integra but still a good kill, not sure why he called you out from a dig....lol

It was probably the worst thing he could have done lol the 40 roll I slaughtered because i just took off all sloppy and ended up having to catch up for a bit which is probably what made him think he had a chance to use his 5 speed to his advantage from a dig. And as to the mod bug its hit me i just need to get some funds to start doing stuff to my car.

Since I saw my buddys civic last year spank a nice sti I've been very skeptical on just thinking they are slow...because they may be a pile of crap on the outside but he could have put all his money on the engine and gutted the car out..
 
Don't forget that Honda's weigh next to nothing to our boats. So that helps out alot.

Then again I yanked my buddies H22 swap civic when I was stock with some vac leaks and a messed up BBV lol
