Looking to drop the nose more...

OK, I have the Eibach springs and AGX's. Now I want to drop the nose another 3/4 inch to level it out. What are some suggestions? I like the way it feels, I just don't like the droopy diaper look!
 


Take the dead hookers out of the trunk, Or get new springs, sounds like yours are worn out in back. Unless you have a lot of weight in the trunk.
 
Trunk is empty, I dumped the hookers, and the shocks and springs are new. It settled out with the fronts about 3/4 inches higher than the rears. I like the height of the rears that is why I'm trying to figure out a way, short of new springs, to drop the nose a bit.

Seems like some springs are just lower in the rear, right out of the box.
 


I don't recommend this but it is an option. You could remove the front rubber isolators and get some heater hose and wrap the bottom most coil. That will drop the front a little more. Some guy on club gp did it. F body guys do it as well when lowering the rear on stock springs and call it the heater hose mod.
 


I don’t want to get off subject but Yep, they are the way to go, not sure which coil-over's your looking at but I love my TEIN FLEX coil-over's on my other toy and always highly recommend them, I just don't want to put that much in my GP as it's really my daily driver.
 
nah thats too much work and its not that cold where im at. I am curious why you would suggest doing it though?
 
the coilovers on your 'other' toy are way different. the coilovers for these cars, only one brand to choose from, reduce your strut travel the lower you go and eventually youll run out of room to lower it if youre into the dumping scene.

however, i dont agree with matt. i would adjust them up a little higher before the snow hits. youll then need two alignments a year to do it right. however, the salt and winter wear will probably end up seizing the locking rings.
 


Coilovers arent tolerant to dirt and such so having snow packed in there for a while doesnt end well.

My boss's subie has coilovers and he's been fine but he's so anal about his car he cleans his coilovers regularly in the winter.

Thats my point. Unless you clean them. But who needs to be low in the winter?
 
Thanks for the info Bio248, I'v never looked at coil-overs for the GP, I did not know the selection was that limited.
 
they do not thread into the lower body like your tein flex' do. you dont lose travel no matter how low you go, which is why i enjoy those types of coilovers.
