looking for wheel spacers

Well I'm in the middle of a brake swap to gen2 CTS-V front and rear calipers and rotors. Had the stock V rotors machined to fit the gp hub bore size and slotted the bolt holes to fit the 5x115 bolt pattern. Front rotors are 14.5" and rear are 14.3". Performed all the mock up and have an issue with the back of the spokes just barellycontacts the face of the Brembo calipers. What I'm looking for is a 3-5mm wheel spacer to bring the wheel away from the caliper.

Not to hijack but is there any big negatives to running spacers on the rear? Maybe about 10-15mm?

I always hear people say no no don't do it but looking for proof. Suspecting it isn't as good as stock on parts but what effects?

I don't see anything wrong with running a small spacer. Anything big I would install some arp studs and then have at it.

^^^ ya better lugs are a must
My 00 GP has 245/35zr20 an 1" drop and 7mm spacers on the rear. If i hit a bump at high speed sometimes the back tire rubs the fender ( they aren't rolled ) But that depends on the wheel offset too I guess. Im still on the original bearings in the back and haven't noticed any abnormal wear on bushings. Also any more of a spacer on the factory hub there wouldn't be much thread for the lug nut to hold onto. Id say 7mm is max.

Yeah throw some arp studs that are longer than stock to make up for lost threads. Im about to put some 10mm ones in the rear

I'm looking to only do the fronts due to clearance issues with the back of the spokes to the front face of the 6 piston V calipers....not sure but these cars are considered to be wide-tracks for a reason, I guess it be fine for street use but don't suggest it for track use changing from a wider front track to an equal or wider rear track, but thats just my personal thought on it.

You still haven't put those on?

These cars are no wider than the other Wbodies. Widetrack really applies back in the 60s and Pontiac brought it back just for marketing. The styling does make them look wider which I don't mind.
