Looking for pics of grand prix's with police package springs and struts

Here's one more thing about the fleet/9cx package. I know some of the fleet cars that were not used as patrol vehicles had 3400s. I believe this package was 9c6? Does anyone know if this included the heavy duty springs and struts? I know they did have the front strut bar, 32mm front sway bar, colum shift bench seat, standard fm radio, no dome light, maybe a few other things I missed.

So if you guys have access to the GTP's, why not get some pics and some documentation? It would make for an interesting thread either way.

I mean i post some pics of the car, but those are going to be about as good as it gets bc it has been about 12 years since they had them

... And sorry OP didnt mean to jack your thread with this nonsence lol.. back to business

but they are going to take the time to remove..lights, decals, computers, cages, more lights, the interior.... righhhht

Yes, they are going to remove all those parts because impersonating an officer is illegal. It's the reason using self-installed strobes on the street is illegal. You can't compare that to removing an entire motor and trans when it is not necessary at all.

As to them not being stock, keep in mind that at the time these cars were new, modding was virtually non-existent. There was no market yet for swapping pullies, supporting mods, etc. Even SLPs' top GTX package didn't do much of anything. At the very, very best, those Police cars got a mild tune which would make little difference.

The basic $2k GTX package consisted of a ram air hood, a stock air box with a hole on the top to draw in the air from the hood, and GTX badges on the doors and below the trunk lid. That is all. This basic package could be had on a GTP, GT or even an SE. Everything above and beyond that (GTX wheels, SS exhaust, GTX floor mats, etc; no headers) were all extra. I doubt your buddy got a Stage3 GTX, considering the price over a stock GTP would have been ridiculous. Even the $2k basic package was a pretty big rip off considering how little you got for the money.

I don't know what it was for sure. I'll have to ask him. Just said it had a ram air hood and 3.4 pulley. I think he said he put around 60k on it
