I have a pretty stock 2004 GTP and just bought a SS catless dp with sims and am planning on getting Wizaired CAI, 180 tstat, and Autolite 104's and am planning on getting a zzp MPS. What size pulley should i run for my specific setup? and is there anything else anybody would suggest for this setup? also i have zzp shortened dogbones, just for future reference what headers would i be able to use without hitting my fans?

3.6 pulley MAYBE if you have no knock. Are you scanning with anything?

Headers would be the best thing to get to start with since they are only 200$.

Why did you buy shorter dogbones? Are you lowered? If your not lowered there is no use for the shorter dogbones.

On the 04+ shorter dogbones are useless since you can't use them with any headers, a plog if your gonna go that route, but headers are still better. If and when you decide to lower the car, you should run mount spacers from VinnieGTP, they are the best solution as shorter dogbones can cause issues.

okay yeah i figured ide need a tune, im planning on getting one after everythings on. i know a guy who does a good tune on these and charges like 200. and ive heard bad things about the zzp box tunes. any thoughts on which route? and yes ive lowered my car and got that bad vibration so as a hurried solution i ordered the shortened dogbones but kept the regular ones just in case i needed them later. what kind of issues are you talking about them causing? and nobody makes like block hugger headers or anything that anybody knows of? its fine headers are a little ways off. im doing all my modding very slowly over time starting with all the supporting mods i can come up with.

There's only a few syles of headers..and the differences are mainly just in how the crossover connects and then the down pipe connections

i work in a shop so i can scan when i do it. i need info on the tune please. where to go what to do? i got my degree for working on cars but dont know what a tune would entail to know if its something i could do myself or what? i have been refered to a guy but am nervous about letting this guy touch my car even though ive heard good things about him. so what are my best bets with the tune?

A good tuner.....and get all your mods on first. Your going to need to buy hp tuners, efi live or another program if you plan on doing it yourself. Better bet leave it to someone who does it for a living

okay that sounds good. and im pretty sure i already know the answer to this but i can have the rear o2 shut off easy when im getting it tuned right? i knew this but wasnt thinking and the sim was one of those that only work 03 grand prixs down. i modified it and it worked for a while but eventually my light came on and i have to go back to stock to pass emissions tomorrow. so im good if i put my 3" catless dp, cai, 180 tstat, autolight 104's and possibly a smaller pulley if there's no kr then get my tune after its all done correct? ive done alot to other peoples cars but this is really my first mods to mine so im nervous and just trying to do it as right as possible haha. also.. how much is to much kr? i know these cars sometimes have some straight from the factory. and when is to much kr bad? i can afford the car, the maintenance, and some mods.. but i cant afford to start chipping pistons haha.

Any kr is bad in my opinion. And nearly all stock prics kncok. Your shootin for zero. And they can tune out the codes for the rear 02 yes. And save yourself some money and build your own intake.

I have SSAC Headers and the fit just fine. You should then be good with a 3.6 pulley but be sure to scan for knock.

For the PCM, I recommend Overkill and DHP.

ace are you saying you have those headers and they fit with shortened dogbones? also anybody used the power log thing? like this from zzp ZZ Performance worth it? and i see ace you have overkill pcm with your settup. where do you get it and how good is the tune? ive seen lotsa bad things about "box tunes" on here specifically zzps, is overkill one of these? someone up there said something about making my own cai. any idea's on how i could make one thats just as effective if not more so and looks neat? i want my car to look professionally done when i do stuff with it. i like keeping it very neat.
