I don't know about you, but hoses are pretty hard to beat someone with. Unless you use the brass threaded ends, but then why not use something more powerful, like a bat or chain? I guess you could strangle someone with a hose, but I wouldn't consider that beating someone. Maybe you should try rephrasing your sentence :).

Also, I didn't know your life ran around this forum site. I guess if a stupid joke post renders you catatonic, then you need to rethink your life.
