Logo Contest Comments

I wanted to say one thing about Cafepress, they are very strict on their policy of not using copyrighted material. One of our local members did club shirts through them for a few years and had several rejected due to the use of the Pontiac Arrowhead and GTO emblems, etc. Might just keep that in mind.
 


He had some stuff get through and some stuff that didn't. Unfortunately, the only real way to find out is to submit it and see if they reject it.
 
TyroElite, I really really like yours. Its compact, has the 40th Anniv. design going on. I like Chelby's as well because it is about as simple as it gets but adds some flair as well with the interlocking letters. Both of your designs would work without the arrow head too which is really nice in case there is copyright questions.
 


The will reject it if they find it and it has any copyrighted material on it. I sorta used a pic of an integra for shirt for a friend of mine, and they caught it, said it was a representation of a real car, and removed it. Also, I've heard that GM will plop C&D orders on anyone using the Pontiac logo for anything.

However, CafePress DOES do a really good job of printing. I've ordered lots of stuff from them, and never had anything come back that I wasn't OK with.
 


All these are very well done! if it were my choice..I would use Pitchs first one for the forum logo, and the second one....based off the badge for the cups and decals..and what not.

I also like the above one, and if your planning on making some decals for the site I think that would be a good idea, I know i would order a couple stickers.
