Locks unlock and lock after the door is closed.

The keyless locks on my 99 gtp stopped working via the remote. Now, when the drivers side door is closed, they lock and unlock like there's a short somewhere.

Switch In the door possibly?
 


So, after I replace the broken actuator, if the remote lock still doesn't work, what should I check next (besides the fuse)?
 
you can unplug the actuator, then put a test ligt on the plug, work the lock switch, if you cant get the test light to light up that means its not getting power to it.

if it lights up, the actuator is bad for sure.
 
if its hanging its not hooked up to the lock linkage. see if you can put it back in place.

you may have to look at the driver side, then mirror the pass side to get it right.
