thats what the "settings" button is for, click it, then every thread you've posted in or started pops up in there if a new post had been made in those threads.

^ This. Once I log on and catch up to all the posts I've missed, I bounce between the "New Posts" button and "Settings" to see if I missed anything in the threads I'm subscribed to.

If we had "live" threads it wouldn't change, I'd have a gazillion threads open at once and bog the server and people would complain it was slow. Just refresh more goofy. F5 is your friend. Spam it until it stops working.

Get tapatalk 2. It will send you notifications almost instantly when someone replies to a thread you post in.

Or use the chatbox on your pc...
