• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

List of problems I found.

Just got the GP tonight, took a quick look at it. Daughter said it was 98, her boyfriend says 2000, I haven't looked into it yet.
Some things I noticed right away:
Blower motor: doesn't work on any speed, I am thinking it's the motor.
RH wiper doesn't work...linkage?
Headlights are garbage, worse that the ones on my Lincoln Mark VIII. I might be able to clean them up a bit.
Rotted brake lines, easy fix, done it several times.
Should be a good first car for her, with a little work. She's always wanted a GP. Plus, it's another project for me. Let the fun begin.

I had a blower motor not working and I thought I was going to have to replace it. Turned out to just be a disconnected wire under the dash on the passenger side. I guess where the blower motor is it's pretty easy for a passengers' feet to accidentally disconnect the blower motor wires. You may check there first. As for the headlights, cleaning them helps.....a little. You will be much better off and safer just spending the money now and buying HID headlights. I have heard good things about Spyders and plan on buying a set myself once I have the money. One final point is that you did not mention the miles on the car but you may want to look into getting the transmission fluid changed as that is often neglected and the transmissions are the weak point of these cars.

Good purchase and hope to see you on here posting again.

Buy new headlights off ebay....theyre like 60 bucks a pair for brand new ones...

this. i wet-sanded and polished the outside and it didn't do much. took them off the car, put them in the oven to take the front cover off and didn't the inside and outside, and they're still cloudy. really not worth the time in my opinion
