im just wondering what are some common signs of a lim failure?

recently my 98 gt has been getting hot and im starting to smell anti freeze from the engine bay. i see no external leaks so im guessing its the LIM gasket. so im going to replace it since i dont know if it has ever been changed to aluminum or if its plastic.

But is there anything else that would be a good idea to get for the repair while im at it such as injector o rings , coolant elbows , t-body gasket , uim gasket , and t-stat. if theres anything else that would be in my best intrest to replace while i have it torn apart please list thanks.
 


LIM gaskets, new coolant elbows...and be SURE to RTV the corners of the LIM gaskets before putting the LIM back on.
 
Get lim gaskets, supercharger gasket/uim gasket, tb gasket, coolant elbows, injector o rings need 12 of those, t stat if you have not changed it.
