i always do it in the shape of an x kinda like a tire where you go across from bolt to bolt

torque to 11 foot pounds

Just go tight.

Even at 11 ft lbs the bolts can break with ease.

Honestly? Wow.. I've reused these bolts time after time, have found torque specs of 11ft lbs and 13ft lbs. For the aluminum gaskets I use 15ft lbs. Never heard of this issue before.

Although I understand how a Canadian might have trouble with pounds vs meters.. lol
 




I've never broken an lim bolt and I always use a torque wrench. Never used thread sealant either.

I just go by the torque spec chart from wherever I got that from haha
