LIM installed just a curious question

I finished up replacing the LIM gasket, plug wires and valve cover gaskets last week. Everything seems to be dry after about 100 miles of driving maybe a little less.

My questions, have any of you guys seen lower boost gauge numbers after this gasket change? I am only seeing the 7.5 mark in first gear near the top of the RPM and not at all in the 2nd or 3rd gear ranges. I only see about 5 there. Is this an indication of gasket leaking? Maybe belt slip? I did reinstall the old belt (40K+ miles) and tensioners (factory parts, almost 90K miles). Could this be a leak at the lower injector seals or something simple like that? Or is this normal for our excessive heat and humidity here in Al?

whats done to the car?

5-7 psi for a stock pulley is normal.

Completely stock except drop in K&N, and boost bypass valve pushed down on bolts.. I just remembered it being higher but maybe not. I placed the BBV in the same location as before I did the gaskets also so that should not have affected the rate of bypass...

Air temp, density etc have a large factor in it. As does how well your vacuum connections are.

Most of the vacuum connections were very tight. I found the hose for the BBV split and cut that back to "good" hose and pushed it back on. The "T" on the pressure regulator felt too easy to remove. Maybe it is time to replace all that plastic /rubber T stuff and get some new line on there.

Could this also be in some sort of learn mode since the battery was disconnected for about 2 weeks?

Thoughts?
