RICE KILLER

New member
so i am tearing into the top half of my engine in the next couple of days here i am about to throw on a a ported s/c, zzp billet TB, ported LIM, modded and polished L26 fuel rails, and just clean everything up. also it has newer LIM gaskets like 2,500 miles, can i just re-use those?

also heres what i have on the list for things to get let me know if i missed anything thanks a lot guys!!!
-TB gasket
-S/C gasket
-coolant elbows
-case of beer
-rtv
-LIM Gasket?????

sounds good to me for the most part. id recommend getting new lim gaskets. you would hate to get all done and have them not work for you since you reused them. dont want leaks, and the extra money up front is better than having to tear it all apart again just cause you skipped out on it.

GM Aluminum LIM gaskets...bar none. Don't skimp. But for the L26 rails...do you have a '04+ car? I didn't think they would work since they are part of the returnless '04+ system.

thanks! and its a 2000, and i am having a guy from MN CulbGP build me a set of custom rails with the L26 rails as a base, reason being that i hate the stocks that cover the S/C. im not sure how he does it but there are people who are running them in their cars in my local area.

Nick do you have the gm part number? and what are the torque spec with the aluminum gaskets?

Pretty sure there is a TQ. Spec thread sticky on here in the How To Section...but IIRC it isn't much...like 12 ft.lbs or less
