LIM gasket question

After i change my lower intake manifold gaskets, ill run my engine for a few minutes, then change my oil. my question is, should i change it yet again a few days/week later, just to make sure ALL the contaminants have been flushed out, or is just that first oil change after the gasket replacement sufficient?

I do it a hundred miles after with cheapo oil.

And 100 miles after that with cheapo crap.

Same deal with the filter too...just use cheap ones.

Then, go to your normal stuff after about 500 miles total.

Might be overkill, but better safe than sorry IMO.

My method is this......

If you don't dump coolant into the lifter valley, then start the car on it's existing oil run for less than 5 minutes. Drain and replace, if the oil was not milky or crappy looking.. happy motoring. If it had anything in it.. run for another 5-10 minutes drain and replace.
