I'm going to be modifying and Porting my Lower Intake Manifold and M90 Supercharger.

This are the tools and parts I'm going to be using.

For Porting M90 Supercharger and the endcap of the LIM:

Any suggestions are more then welcomed.

P.S. Don't buy anything from China on eBay unless you want to wait a month to get it........Lol!

Yes Bill I did that's when I decided to do this mod. By the way that's a great How-to thread.

I started this thread because as I'm doing these mods I want to post my progress with pics and I want to make Sure I'm doing everything correctly. You all can guide me, if I foul up.

I'm still a ROOKIE on the Gm 3800....lol

Going to do this when I swap to my Geb V. I'm wondering if the H bar is worth the effort of machining it out?

Wow, that thread was an interesting read! I don't think it helped with my decision but it was eye opening reading about their feud. I've never had a purchase go bad like that.

Lol....Yea that's what I thought also. That was a sour deal for that dude.

Are you going to put a intercooling system in your ride? I'm just curious!

Eventually yes. From what I read, the H beam removal only helps if you inter cool. I think I'll hold off until then. Thanks for the help!

So, I decided it would be best to get these items as well.

I got this respirator so I don't inhale aluminium particles as I'm doing the grinding and porting. If anyone is doing this, it is important to have one of these because metal shavings are really harmful, when inhaled. The choice is yours.

I also purchased a 1/4" T-Handle Ratchet Tap Wrench, which I don't think it is necessary to get this job done, but I think it makes the job more professional.

Just my thoughts!

I have ratcheting tap handles. They are nice if you have a lot to do. Been hand tapping for 25 years but only had the ratcheting handles for 2.

On tapping. I think the ratcheting is overkill. You need to tap a little, remove and test your plugs. You want the plug to not be quite flush, then add sealant/teflon to it and flush it up.
