• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

light covers

I don't think they ever made tail light covers.

You'll have to tint them yourself, or pay to get them done right. Clear coat + black paint = baller tint.

Take that with a grain of salt. What you really want is clear coat with a couple drops of black paint mixed in. Aka, a pint mixed at a shop and sprayed with a gun.

i bought new tail lights that were smoked in hope they would be dark enough and they look really good just not quiet dark enough

nite shades has a little red to it, 100% guaranteed. read the can. then look at what you've done after you've sprayed.

and that rustoleum crap just looks brown.

He's not lying. Spray some on some plastic, then spray some black paint next to it. You'll certainly notice a difference.

Don't see any red..... Except for on the car.

I don't think you understand that vht uses red as a pigmant to achieve transparent black

you have to spray the vht on a piece of papper to realize it. but it does you cant tell on the tails though.

And if you mix your own using clear and black, you achieve transparent black without and red. The red pigment makes VHT appear more purple on tails. I've honestly to god seen VHT, Rustoleum, and Black/Clear tails on a GP, all right next to each other. When you see them side by side, it makes you want the black/clear. Back then... mine was the car with the rustoleum.... sad day.
