Lifter question???? Help?

Long story short, I blew my trans in my 03 Ultra last year. Just now have the motivation to fix it, so I'm renting a car tomorrow and delivering the trans to TEP for a high performance street and strip stage 1 build. Decided while the motor was out, it would get a mild cam, and valve springs to work with that new cam along with a new timing chain.

I saw a little wear on the rocker-end of the pushrods and decided to go ahead and order brand new stock length pushrods and when I saw that the new OEM lifters on rock auto were about $40 overall more than LS7s from ZZP that can take a higher RPM, it was a no brainer to order the LS7 lifters seeing as I have 136k on the original lifters and one had a slight tick before I took the engine apart.

I saw this on ZZP's site, don't understand what it means.. people are telling me I'll be fine, people are telling me I might need to shim, I don't exactly know. Never done this before but thought it couldn't be too hard since I've seen most people say they put LS7s in and had no issue.

"Preloaded and have to be installed between 1/4 turn and 3/4 turn vs. 1/2 to 1.5 turns on stock lifters"

what does this mean ^ ? Will these work with my setup?

Our rockers aren't adjustable. Just tighten down to recommended torque. As long as you are using stock length pushrods the ls7's will be fine.
