Life after a GTP

I starting to think about options for other daily driver cars besides my GTP.

Aside from it being supercharged (love the whine it makes) I also love the elbow room and comfort of the car.

I was wondering what other people have switched to and enjoyed as much as their GP.

Love my 200s...and the Fusion Ecoboost...

I went to a 2wd lowered Sierra and now to a 4x4 Silverado.

Gas mileage isnt a huge concern for me so thats why I went this way.

Someday I'll get another car to motor around in to keep the miles off my truck.

I went with a 2003 Tahoe Z71, worlds better than the gp. Only things I miss are the blower sound and the hud.

I tell you what, I have had a 05 comp g gtp, my dd is my 01 gp with low miles and aresome visual mods. My g6 will blow my 01 out the park, and its close to the comp g, 3.5L, I like it alot, its similar to grand prixs.

I will also say this, the gtos are really nice aswell.

If i had the money, I would get a 2013 newest style impala, they look sick.

I now drive a 2009 Cobalt SS Turbocharged. It's a 2 door 2 liter 4 cyl with a 5 speed manual transmission with a limited slip differential that gets up as good as my GXP. Makes 300+ wheel HP and way more torque. Also able to get over 34MPG if I don't drive like an idiot. The seats look nice with the vinyl trim and suede inside, but the GXP seats felt much nicer. Dash isn't as nice as the 04+ Grand Prix, but not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, especially with the Reprogramable Display (RPD).

This platform is also supported by ZZP, as I have a 3" ZZP catless downpipe, intercooler, and charge pipes. As well as SSC springs I bought from ZZP.

I love this car.

Here's pictures a week after dropping on SSCs.

...I've also been thinking about rebadging this as a G5 GXP, since one was never made, the Cobalt is barely different than a G5, this is my first car that isn't a Pontiac, and because why not (other than this being an uncommon color for a SS/TC)

Don't rebadge it cmon its a cobalt. Thank god it's not yellow though! The white exterior and red interior looks good.

Been rocking a W211 E55 for 4 months now - no comparison aside from the GP getting better fuel mileage
