Fire mod/suicide for my 98 GTP - burned up crispy in the garage with the door closed. Talk about smoke bomb!
 
This is 3 months after I paid this car off...and 3 DAYS after spending $1500 to have the transmission rebuilt...

Yeah. 60k miles...I was cheap and only got the 3 speed auto in it. Probably would have been fine if I had upgraded to the 4spd...
 
I used to swear my car was built at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon...had SO many issues with that thing the first 6 months. It actually triggered a recall. It was a month old, and I was getting on the highway when I noticed my temp gauge going into the nuclear zone...pulled over and shut it off, and saw it GUSHING coolant. Called the dealer, and they towed it to their place. Apparently, the upper rad hose was routed right next to the battery tray, and the battery tray wore a hole in the upper hose. They replaced the hose and put a guard on it. 5 months later I get a recall notice about the battery tray wearing a hole in the upper rad hose...gee - thanks, guys...
 


My dad had a '99 4 door Sunfire. Bought it brand new when GM had a big sale on them. He sold it in 2011 (car was mint with very low mileage) and had to fight to get $2500 for it. What an investment! LOL
