That's your opinion, I disliked the oem ketchup color, and tints are a no go for me, got harassed enough on my '00 by them copsers.

I don't have 172$ for tickets weekly.
 
Did you ever consider the black led tails? eBay has for like 130 cheapest, it's an upgrade, it's not the red you don't like, it's clean an clear, it's not tinted, just giving you options
 


Looks fine to me. Dare to be different I say everyone always tints their tails. Not to mention its his car so he should do what he likes and avoid the potential hassle of bring pulled over.

I don't like the led's tail all that much, and to Canada, the cheapest are 250$ shipped, which is over the top for lights. I'll stick with my painted ones, thank you. I like having something a lil bit different than tinted/led's that everyone seems to be doing too. The best part of it is that it was cheaper than covers, new tails or tint to do and that I don't get harassed by cops at all.
