I'm just posting pics. Make no mistake, these little bastards are 100x better than stock housings. The cutoff is a tiny bit fuzzy, but I can fix that by adjusting the bulb a bit. The high beam mode is phenomenal. I'll replace my black corners with the clear ones when I get around to finding them...

Unsurprisingly, the beams do cross a little just like every other projector assembly for the GP out there. I think that this is because the plane in which the original 9007 bulbs sit on are not parallel with each other to being with. The assumption is that the bulbs are on the same axis as the light output, but in reality they are not. The simple fix for me is to sand and shim on the backside of the projectors some more to straighten them out. No big deal. I'll look into it tomorrow. I have yet to seal the capsules back up permanently until I get everything squared away.
 


Love those.. Saw that thread a while back on clubgp and though about trying my hand at this but hell when it comes to cutting and fabbing not so good.
 


Now that the power is back on...

Took quite a bit of Dremel work to remove the beam cross and raise the output a little. Wasn't real fond of having the stock adjusters cranked all the way up. Also had to adjust for rotation so that the cutoff was as parallel to the ground as I could get it. Some rubber spacers did the trick...

Also had to remove part of the top of the housing to clear the corner of the projector body. Sealed up later with some waterproof pvc tape.

Taken from 10'. Still some fine tuning to do, but I'm letting all the silicone cure for the night before I mess with them...

Also, some of you have been asking me to make these for people. For the fact that there is a lot of time involved, and a lot of tuning required, I am going to respectfully decline. I picked up the Morimoto Mini projectors and a pair of H1 4300k bulbs (no ballasts, no wiring) from The Retrofit Source for $160.
 
wont the chrome housing mess with the cut off line? like make random lit up spots off to the side and up toward the sky
 


just finished one of my lights tonight. pretty straight forward and well worth it. Make sure your lenses are not complete S@!# like mine, or you will be buying a new set of lights like me, just for the lens. scratched and pitted lenses really take the sharpness out of the cutoff.

I love my Morimoto Projectors TOO!

And yeah be ready for alot of people asking you to make them some, I've probably had about 30-40 guys from the 04+ asking me all the time to make a set for them and its just not worth the time and the wear and tear on my car pulling headlights on and off (my bumper is already scratched to hell) Honestly thought its not really all that Hard, some people will install rockers in their car but say they don't have the skill to do a retro. But then there are those who can't even install a simple Plug and Play HID kit LOL
 


Very nice! Looks like mine, except I ended up using the larger FX-R projectors. The light output from just one is amazing compared to factory. Are you running 35w or 55w ballasts?
