The car gets up to that temp pretty quickly especially if I idle it for a while. 5 mintues of idiling.

The heat is plenty hot.
 
Yeah you're fine then. The gauge may not be accurate anymore.
My heat gets hot enough to burn, that's how I like it and is my reason to run a 192 in the winter, and 180 in the summer when I don't need heat.
