well i wanted a car to cruise around germany for these last few months, so for 900 bones i picked up this beauty:

now this isnt actually a picture of MY car.... but it looks EXACTLY like this.

its a 1984 Mercedes Benz 300 SD, yes its a diesel, a TURBO diesel. Its proably the slowest car ive ever driven, sooooooooo much turbo lag. but it works for getting around post, and to the local german villages for a beer and sausages.

oh and i forgot.... im pretty sure this beast has done over 300k miles, the odometer broke at 299,841 miles, and according to the guy i got it from, it broke 3 years ago.

So...on average...if in MILES...it's got around or close to 350k on it...OR...if in kilometers...closing in on 400k km...but that's only 250k miles...and if thats the case...it's a baby

yeah i guess if these cars are well maintained, its pretty common for them to run up to 500k MILES. Ive read about these medalions that you can get for the grill, marking the 100k mile club, 200k mile club, 300k ect....
