Leftover nut

Just about finished with my engine rebuild on my 03 gp gt. However, it looks like i'm going to have 1 nut leftover and im stumped as to what it goes to... Its identical to the nuts that hold the ignition coil bracket. I'm sure its something that mounts to the cylinder head...

Ant ideas?

Did you put a nut on the stud before you put the ground for the icm on? The alternator also has a nut like for the power wire stud.

I just put the ground behind the ignition coil bracket before i put it on... I thought that it might be for the ground wire at as you described but it just seemed dumb to me.

On mine the stud closest to the back of the motor for the coil pack bracket has a nut to hold it to the motor then the ground wire goes on then the other nut, the ground on the trans is similar except the first nut and the stud are one piece
