Left turn high pitch Squeel

I have had my 05 base sedan for a few years now, and recently it started making a high pitch squeel if I turn hard to the left (every once and a while to the right too) but once it does it, it only does it when I gas it. the noise gets louder the more I gas it and then it will continue to do it once I am driving straight again. The wierd thing is is that if I stop and turn the car off and then turn it back on it usually stops doing it until I turn hard left again. If I turn a soft left it will never do it though??? Any Suggestions?? Thanks!!

power steering fluid is low. Check it. Behind and directly below the alternator.

Yeah I'd check the PS fluid first.

I have an 07 GT. When I first got it it was doing the same thing on hard turns. I ended up replacing the Power steering pump. Not a problem since. Even if your fluid is a bit low I would just replace the pump the damage is already done.

+1 Sorry bud...if the fluid is low you already beat up the pump
